Dr. Sandy Milgraum is an East Brunswick, New Jersey-based physician who draws upon more than 35 years of experience to treat patients with medical and cosmetic skin conditions. He leads a private practice where he uses a combination of lasers to treat scars, melasma, vitiligo, stretchmarks, tattoos, facial blemishs and wrinkles and other conditions, and he maintains affiliation with the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital and Dermatology Pediatric Clinic. In addition, Dr. Sandy Milgraum has been a contributing author on dozens of medical studies.

Complementing his treatment of patients, Dr. Milgraum is a clinical associate professor in the Department of Dermatology at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. He has taught in some capacity at the school since 1986. He holds membership with the American Academy of Dermatology and maintains medical licensure in New Jersey and New York.

Dr. Sandy Milgraum completed his dermatology residency at the University of Michigan Medical School, prior to which he completed internal medicine and pediatric residencies at SUNY Buffalo and Children's Hospital of Buffalo, respectively. He also completed an internship at Royal Perth Hospital and earned his MD from the University of Western Australia Medical School in a six-year combined program.

Services Upon finishing a six-year combined MD program at the University of Western Australia Medical School, Dr. Sandy Milgraum completed an internship at Royal Perth Hospital. In 1980 he moved to the US where he served as a pediatric resident at Long Island Jewish Medical Center in New Hyde Park, New York. From there, he completed a pediatric residency at Children's Hospital of Buffalo and an internal medicine residency at SUNY Buffalo. From 1983 to 1986, Dr. Sandy Milgraum was a dermatology resident at the University of Michigan Medical School.

Dr. Milgraum launched a private dermatology practice in East Brunswick, New Jersey, in 1987, and has treated patients for medical and cosmetic skin problems ever since. He is versed in the use of lasers to treat various conditions and, to that end, utilizes a tissue transplant procedure known as MKT to treat vitiligo. Moreover, he uses a combination of lasers, including pulsed dye and thulium lasers, to reduce or eliminate scars.

In addition to treating patients at his private practice, Dr. Sandy Milgraum has been an active staff member at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital since 1986. He also serves as a clinical associate professor in the university’s Department of Dermatology and has earned several teaching awards.
