The Children’s Cancer and Multipurpose Infusion Center is designed for kids, teens and young adults to receive infusion therapy comfortably. It features:
-Four infusion bays, each with a gaming system-equipped TV to help pass the time and ease treatment anxiety
-A central play area for kids
-Two negative pressure/isolation infusion rooms for children who have a weakened immune system or can’t be exposed to an open infusion bay environment
-Four exam rooms
-A room where procedures like lumbar punctures can be performed for the patient’s and parents’ convenience
-A dedicated family resource room offering storage lockers, educational materials and computers
-A teen game room with an infusion chair and a gaming system geared toward teens or young adults
-A painted column and lighting installation – Tree of Life – created by the nonprofit organization Splashes of Hope

Located at the Children’s Specialty Center, this dedicated space for children offers a caring, kid-friendly environment where our specialty-trained team treats children who are receiving cancer care. We also treat children with blood disorders including:-Anemia and sickle cell disease
