Bob S. Pilcher, MD, PhD, graduated from University of Georgia in Athens, GA, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture. He went on to earn his Doctor of Philosophy in Organic Chemistry at Georgia State University in Atlanta, and his medical degree at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. Dr. Pilcher completed his general surgery internship at Erlanger Medical Center (a division of University of Tennessee) in Chattanooga, TN, before completing his residency in orthopaedic surgery at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta.
