Dr. Bendl was born in New York, where she dabbled in a multitude of artistically driven career choices that always revolved around connecting with other people in some way. Enrolling in a liberal arts college afforded her the opportunity to play out her passions through her studies in art, music and literature. She soon became drawn to the field of medicine to reconcile her desires for academic challenge and interpersonal connection.
Dr. Bendl currently works in the outpatient and inpatient settings at Stamford Health Medical Group and at Stamford Hospital. She is a Professor at the Netter School of Medicine in Hamden, where she teaches first and second year medical students. In her free time, you can find her jogging through the streets of Wilton training for her next marathon or enjoying time with her family.
