Graduated from UCH, Ibadan, Nigeria 1975; did 1 year orthopedic internship at Orthopedic Hospital, Enugu, Nigeria before joining the Anambra State Ministry of Health in 1979 . Completed a course in Preventive Medicine at the University of Leeds, UK obtaining the MPH degree with Distinction in 1987. On coming to the United States I did a Pediatric Residency at Blank Children's Hospital, Des Moines, IA and board certified in1998. Since retirement in 2012 I have taken courses to certify in Pain Man
