Board certified in internal medicine and pediatrics, Dr. Hefner is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Prior to joining Piedmont Physicians, Dr. Hefner was in practice in Woodstock, Georgia. He also was a member of the American College of Physicians and the Medical Association of the State of Alabama prior to moving to Georgia.
