Daniel Verges, MD

I first experienced urology while rounding with my father as a young boy. I have come from watching him operate to performing robotic surgeries of my own and I enjoy the challenging and stimulating environment that the practice of urology provides.
I was born in San Antonio, TX and I grew up in Waynesville in the mountains of North Carolina. As a boy I loved dinosaurs, Legos, and playing the piano. I attended Tuscola High School after which I attended The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for my undergraduate studies (Go Tar Heels!). I graduated in 2007 with a B.S. in biology with highest distinction and minors in chemistry and Spanish.
