Dr Rizzo enjoys all aspects of general obstetrics and gynecology and looks forward to continuing to develop her skills in minimally invasive gynecological surgery.
Dr Rizzo is a member of AMA, TMA, and Harris County Medical Society and is board certified with the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology; She is also a Fellow of the American College of ObGyn. She is excited to be joining all of her HCA associates and reuniting with her former partner, Dr. Maria Rivero.

Dr Gina T. Rizzo, a third generation native Houstonian, graduated from IWA in Houston as Valedictorian 1978 and went on to receive her Magna cum Laude Biology degree from Texas A&M University 1982, followed by UT Medical School in Houston and completion of an OBGYN residency at St Joseph Hospital, where she was born; She was in private practice for 14 years followed by 6 years of success developing a home based business so that she could spend time with her 3 children: Joseph Jr, Angela and Jeffrey; she comes to us after serving as a faculty member at UTMB League City for the past 8 years.Dr Rizzo enjoys all aspects of general obstetrics and gynecology and looks forward to continuing to develop her skills in minimally invasive gynecological surgery.
