From the time Dr Jackie took my mom as a patient, first she could have killed my mom with an over prescription of glipzide that rendered her unconscious and foaming at the mouth. The. she lost weight so severely under her continued lack of care that The Dr. said she would go into cardiac arrest at 70 pounds, this was during a follow up visit after coming out of the hospital for a two week stay where they found an adrenal mass, which Dr Jackie never thought to look for with my moms many complaints about back pain, since she has osteoporosis, Dr. Jackie never looked for anything but a fracture in the back, which mom also did have. Dr Jackie claimed she didn’t know how sick mom was, but how can someone turn to bones before your very eyes and you don’t know they are really sick and needing testing done to rule out all causes? I’m having to relocate my mom now to avoid any more life threatening blunders. She will be treated at Vanderbilt where I live in Tennessee to get some actual help because my brother in Alaska can’t trust AK Regional senior care. We cannot afford stretcher transport so When I asked for a Dr note for the airline so mom can be sure to lie down across seats Jackie refused citing covid. The pandemic is less scary to me than this Dr. who prescribed endless pills and creams (come back in 6 weeks) instead of identifying the underlying cause and avoiding the crazy hospital and relocation bills we face now from her neglect of duty. The staff are no better, when I said I wasn’t happy they shrugged and said mom was “of the age” at 70, as if she should be writing off as dying. When our family lives into thier 90’s. Shame.
