Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare?: I previously served as the site director of radiation oncology at the York Cancer Center, and before that as faculty attending physician at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. I now dedicate all of my time to my patients at York Cancer Center, and I specialize in treating tumors of the prostate, brain, lung, head and neck and kidneys. Radiation treatment for these tumors includes stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT), brachytherapy (seeds) and proton therapy. I led the Hopkins team that developed the SBRT program at the Johns Hopkins Hospital and treated the first SBRT patient at Hopkins.
