I desire to create an atmosphere that is comfortable and accepting and develop with my clients a collaborative therapeutic relationship. My primary goal is to come alongside the client and assist in managing issues that can cause one to feel stuck, overwhelmed or paralyzed while helping clients to move toward a more effective and rewarding life. I primarily use cognitive-behavioral, brief and solution focused therapies and techniques among other tools to develop an integrative approach that is tailored to each client individually.

I saw Althea when I was going through a time that I didn't think I could pull myself out of. My pastor had referred me and I am so thankful that he did. She was so loving, kind and patient with me it was incredible. And believe me I am not an easy one, I am sure I told her more than once she was wrong. haha. However, lucky for me, she wasn't. Today I can tell you, if you are hesitating...don't. Thank you Althea for giving me my life back. I will always be grateful for you! Kathy
