My goal is to provide clear information and expectations about a patient’s return of function after they have healed so that they can make informed decisions about their care. I want my patients to feel that they are being cared for with empathy and respect, and that they really understand their care and have a voice in the care they receive. When I first meet with my patients, I give them as complete a picture as possible about the issue they are seeking help for.
