About
David Lattin, President of Senior Helpers West Houston, knows all too well the challenges and rewards of caring for a loved one because he has provided care for his own aging mother. He understands the value of what it means to age in place, at home. David is a former basketball player who went on to make his mark at Texas Western College (now the University of Texas at El Paso) by leading the Miners to a historic national championship in 1966. He was a first round draft pick of the San Francisco Warriors, playing for one season before being traded to the Phoenix Suns and ending his pro career with the Harlem Globetrotters in 1976. David enjoys helping others, staying healthy, and cycling long distances to remain active.
Xuan "Ly" Lam
Ly is currently the Director of Operations of Senior Helpers West Houston. She graduated cum laude from the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences at Texas Southern University in 2012. Ly began her professional career the Director of Pharmacy of a surgical hospital in Southeast Texas. She enjoys photography, capturing the sunset, and taking long meditative jogs at Memorial Park in Houston, Texas.

Companion Care
Our companion care line of services offers daily companionship and assistance with daily living activities. If your loved one is living alone and your visits are limited, social interaction becomes very important to their happiness and helps prevent feelings of isolation and depression. Whether they need a little fun or maybe just help keeping house and running errands, we have you covered with home care activities such as:
