Dr. Shalaka Ghate joined Memorial Family Medicine in 2008 and oversees the healthcare needs for all ages, including health promotion, disease prevention, health maintenance with well child visits, adult physicals (including pap smears and pelvic exams), counseling, diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses like hypertension, diabetes etc. She has completed her Family Medicine residency training from St. Vincent's Medical Center, right here in Jacksonville.
