My mom is currently in the ICU on a ventilator. ICU has a one person a day visitation. Yesterday I went and was not told I couldn't come back again so i went twice that day no issues. This morning my sister went to visit and was treated by an Administrator at the hospital like garbage for asking for directions and was told she could not visit all day. And this guy in a suit was berating the ALLIED security guard for not knowing how to check someone in when its the hospitals job to train them on what they need to do. My mother is laying there on a ventilator and is still waiting on them to do neurological tests to see if she has any brain activity because she is unresponsive after they took her off sedation. And the hospital doesn't even have a neurologist on staff to read the scans so even when they do them it won't be read for days. So because they need money from Medicare I guess she might be laying there brain dead on a ventilator for days. I get they are busy and overrun. but that is no excuse to act like this.
