This provider is truly awful. My wife was seen here and during the first appointment the provider asked for three changes to her birth plan. All three were made. Her next appointment was canceled 30 minutes before it was supposed to start and a voicemail was left for her that her care model was changed, without discussing it with her, and she was not welcome to see a midwife anymore. After pressing the issue I was told that her birth plan requiring consent for any interventions disqualified her from midwife care and that the women's care clinic only will see patients if any intervention can be done without their consent. One midwife told me she likes to do episiotomy's "preemptively" to keep a woman from tearing. This is not an evidence-based practice. It is shocking to know that UC Health is ok with a facility preforming interventions without a woman's consent as routine practice. This practice also denied my wife a GBS test until she met with an OB to agree to their birth plan terms. Very cohesive and unprofessional.

I have had THE WORST experience with every part of UCHealth. I have been going there since I found out I was pregnant with my son in September of last year. I was charged an INSANE amount for my first 8 week appointment. My insurance only covered a part of it and UCHealth’s billing department wouldn’t clarify the charges or the necessity of the charges. I was also charged for services I never had done. All of my following prenatal visits were covered by insurance since I wasn’t charged for incorrect services going forward. Fast forward to my birth, I was harassed by the surgeon OB who delivered my son. The first time I met this doctor was at my sons delivery. She waited until my husband was out of the room and then tried to convince me to not have anymore kids (it’s my husbands first kid). She lied about the outcome of the C-section just to scare me. I had nurses tell me so. Then she deliberately went against everything I asked for during my C-section and responded to her mistakes with an “oops”. No apologies, nothing. I got a letter in the mail a week later that she no longer works for UCHealth. Hmmmm… I wonder why? Next, 2 hours before my 6 week follow up appt, I get a call from them and they canceled my appointment. I called back to reschedule since I had a babysitter already lined up and NO ONE answered the phone nor called me back to actually reschedule. I called multiple times and no one would answer the phone. I am now 11 weeks post op and have not been able to get in and make sure everything healed correctly. For the Cherry on top of it all, I have dropped off short term disability paperwork multiple times to be filled out by my doctor and they keep “losing it”. No one fills it out and no one lets me know that they keep magically losing it. I just tried to call AGAIN and no one will answer the phone. They were supposed to call me back on Friday to let me know where my paperwork is, but nothing. So now I am almost done with my maternity leave and haven’t been paid at all because I can’t get ANY doctor to fill out my paperwork. This place is a total joke and I do not recommend going here for ANY service at all.
