I specialize in physical, emotional, learning, and developmental disabilities and have advocated for this population for many years. I have written articles about disabilities and provide presentations on the topic. I have experience with a wide array of challenges including learning disabilities, ADHD, chronic illness, anxiety, substance abuse disorders, and personality disorders. I have extensive training in DBT, therapy that focuses on distress tolerance, emotional regulation, social skills training, and mindfulness. I enjoy utilizing creative techniques such as sand-tray therapy which often helps clients to feel more comfortable in therapy.
