Golden Moments
Golden Moments Adult Day Health Spa is located in the beautiful Florence, Maine. We pride ourselves in being reliable, loving, and caring. We bond with our residents and have so much for them to do. We understand and respect how independent your loved ones are and make strides to keep them happy and healthy. In 2012, we completed our indoor facilities. We are able to provide a comfortable and warm environment to all of our residents. We have comfortable couches, places to watch television and do crafts, and even a full-featured salon. There are many events which keep your parents nice and busy throughout the year! The amenities are wonderful and include massages, reiki, physical therapy, foot care, meditation, manicures & pedicures for the lovely women, socialization, and even daily music programs. There are even benefits for caregivers such as support groups and massage. With so many activities, outings, and movies to watch; there is no real reason to go anywhere else! Many of our participants fully enjoy the weekly guests that come to sing for them. With all of these special activities, it is hard for them to take that beautiful smile off of their faces. Our favorite part of the day is being able to see the smiles on the faces of our participants. We have watched new participants grow and start feeling much better since they started coming here. The staff is supportive and fun to be around, while making sure that everything is taking care of. There are always medical professionals on staff to tend to the needs of those that need it. Our showers are walk-ins, which make it much safer for our participants. We also believe that exercise is important for everyone. That is why we offer strengthening and toning exercises on a daily basis.
