Since Shanti Home II only caters to a small number of residents (dependent upon the facility) it is able to provide the environment of a real home. This living community can offer care for various health care conditions, while providing a pleasant assisted living facility environment. Located in actual houses in Laurel, Maryland, we offer a comfortable living experience that is strengthened by our ability to offer a designated family visiting area, guest parking, internet and computer access and barber/beautician services when you desire them. Our compassionate staff assists our senior residents with mobility issues, basic hygiene care, foot care, medication and even catheter management if needed. If you have certain dietary restrictions you need not worry. We provide our residents three meals a day that can be created vegetarian style and low sugar or low sodium meals. Our chef will be happy to discuss any particular meal preparation that you would enjoy. We also offer a good variety of tasty and nutritious snacks. We pride ourselves because our facility also can provide services for those who suffer from Alzheimer or dementia. Our unique care plans allow family members to participate in their care if they choose. We offer recreational and social get-togethers. Our lovely recreational areas are safe if a resident decides to take a stroll. Since no two individuals are alike, all of our care plans are geared specifically for the particular individualsÆ needs. Shanti Home II provides the answer to elderly residents who perhaps have a health condition such as asthma, heart disease or have a tendency to fall.
