The Fresno Clinic will offer PHP and IOP services for adult clients struggling with substance abuse as their primary diagnosis. The Clinic will also be geared toward treating clients struggling with dual diagnosis issues. Common co-occurring diagnoses include anxiety, depression, bipolar, and PTSD.
Our expert staff with Master’s level training will assist you in comfortably acclimating to the program. They will conduct an initial biopsychosocial evaluation and develop treatment plan objectives with you so as to maximize your experience with us. The Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) will run 5-7 days a week for 6 hours a day. The Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is designed to be flexible and meet the needs of a busy schedule with three possible options: morning, afternoon, and evening. IOP clients will attend anywhere from 3-5 sessions a week. Programming will consist of a blend of educational and process oriented groups.
Clients will learn how addiction effects them and why as well as the necessary skills to combat their cravings. Clients will also learn how to connect with others in a way that is positive and communicative and helps them enjoy a sober life. Family is also integrated into both PHP and IOP, as clinically indicated. Special family groups will be held where your loved ones can learn about the addictive processes, co-occurring issues, and triggers. PHP clients will have an initial Psychiatric Evaluation and regular nursing care as well. Seeing the Psychiatrist is not part of the IOP program. However, IOP clients can private pay to see the Psychiatrist as an additional service. Discharge planning is an essential piece of our program as well. Clients will be prepared to step-down from each level of care with continuing care appointments scheduled so that they can maintain their recovery as well as their physical and mental well-being.
We will also hold a weekly Alumni group for clients of Valley Sacramento and Valley Fresno once a week for aftercare. The Alumni group is free of charge.

I don't know what is worse about this center, the services (or lack thereof) or the condescending staff. Not a dual program, individual "treatment" plan is meaningless words on paper, and group is a joke. From the obnoxious secretary to the unprofessional director, or the way counsellors try to kill time in group instead of teaching coping skills and relapse prevention...the promises of this place seems like it would be a dream, but in reality it is a nightmare.
