Dr. Cangello earned a bachelor of arts from Hamilton College, one of the nation’s top-ranked and most selective undergraduate institutions. He then went on to world-renowned Johns Hopkins University, earning his master of science degree from the Division of Reproductive Biology and Department of Biochemistry. He gained valuable experience while spending an additional year performing scientific research at the Johns Hopkins University’s School of Medicine. During that time, he worked with, and learned from, some of the top minds in the medical research field while coauthoring several publications and abstracts. Following this invaluable training, he received his doctor of medicine from SUNY Upstate Medical University at Syracuse.
Dr. Cangello completed his residency in general surgery at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City. Here, he was fully trained by surgeons who have contributed to the hospital’s international reputation as a pioneer of surgical innovation and expertise. After becoming fully trained in general surgery, Dr. Cangello completed his residency in plastic and reconstructive surgery at Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. There, he was able to work with premier plastic surgeons practicing in the elite Mainline suburban area of Philadelphia, and gain experience in state-of-the-art cosmetic surgical procedures.
