Today’s youth experience unprecedented academic and social pressure often resulting in feelings of frustration and sadness, anger and isolation. Often these emotions are buried rather than shared, which can lead to harmful thoughts and behaviors. By cultivating a collaborative relationship, we work together to identify these thoughts, feelings and behaviors and the reasons behind them. Recognizing, understanding and altering these feelings allows the person to develop a sense of mastery over complex struggles leading to enhanced relationships while boosting self-esteem and academic performance.
