On your first visit to Northern Edge the doctors will perform a complex chiropractic examination. Each examination consists of neurological, orthopedic, muscle and reflex testing, as well as a functional movement assessment. Once the diagnosis has been determined the doctors can develop a personalized treatment plan that is designed to specifically address your needs. During treatment at the clinic the chiropractors will be using manual adjusting, activator, and drop piece techniques to adjust the joints in the spine. To assist the adjustments a variety of therapies will be applied to address the muscular component of the joints. The therapies provided are electrical stimulation, ultrasound, mechanical traction, hot/cold therapy, manual muscle therapy, and rehabilitative exercises.
