I believe establishing a safe environment to talk and building a trusting relationship is essential for a successful therapeutic relationship. However, I also understand that gaining trust requires time. Although I have training in differing treatment orientations, I change the treatment or combine treatment techniques, depending on the individual and what they feel most comfortable with. One of my main goals is to try my best to instill hope in individuals who may temporarily feel hopeless, stuck or lost and serve as a reminder that we can all change our situation or view of our situation, with a little bit of help.

Living in a busy world, fulfilling different roles, we may neglect to care for ourselves in the way we should. Some of us have very busy schedules, others have neglected ourselves for so long, we would not know how to begin the process of self care. Attending therapy is a wonderful way to form a self care plan.
