I am committed to working collaboratively with my patients to address emotional distress and difficulties in daily living. This could manifest as depression, anxiety, problems with intimacy or self-esteem, trouble staying focused or feeling connected, feeling excessively angry or guilty, or trouble finding meaning in life, to name only a few. I listen deeply, to understand not only who my patients are right now and what has brought them in, but also what has happened to them in the past and how that has affected the present. In treatment with me, you will find a thoughtful, warm, and nonjudgmental atmosphere. I create effective, individualized treatment plans to best suit my patients needs including psychotherapy ("talk therapy"), medications (psychopharmacology), or both in combination. I use a holistic approach, treating the full person rather than just symptoms. I am board-certified, Yale- and Columbia-trained, with experience and expertise across a wide range of issues. Dr. Naidorf always takes the time to address every concern of mine thoroughly. I feel comfortable with her. It was very easy to get a convenient appointment right away. She has a very flexible schedule and got me in quickly. The office is in a convenient location, and it is clean and well kept. I've already been recommending her to my friends and family. I don't think there's a better psychiatrist out there. The entire staff looked so professional and well groomed. It seemed they really paid attention to their appearance.
