About

Shachar Erez, MFTi

When it comes to relationships we live in confusing times. Gender roles are changing rapidly, and we hold high expectations of ourselves, our partners, and our relationships. Between making a living and living meaningfully, life can feel stressful and dull, and our relationship like a to-do list more than a loving exchange.

This kind of struggle often stems from ignoring parts of ourselves that want to be expressed. Especially around masculinity and femininity. Many of us hold confused notions about our roles in relationship and have a hard time expressing ourselves authentically and fully.

As we get to know ourselves better, learn how to be more mindful, and express our feelings, needs and dreams, such struggles dissipate.

I offer Integral Counseling to individuals and couples who want to know themselves better, live more meaningfully, and express themselves more authentically.

Services The heart of healing in therapy lies in the attunement between client and therapist. In sessions, we will build a safe, mindful and often humor-filled space in which you can know yourself deeper and express yourself without fear of rejection or shame.

I work relationally, celebrating the humanity of every individual. We will use somatic mindfulness which can help you track your bodily cues, and create awareness of your sensations, where a lot of subconscious information is stored, allowing easy access to your feelings and needs.

My specialties include:

Femininity/Masculinity issues
