His clinical practice includes microsurgery, minimally invasive surgery, fusion and nonfusion procedures. He also specializes in treatment of athletic spine injuries. He treats patients with a variety of spinal disorders including herniation, stenosis, scoliosis and spinal cord compression.
Dr. DeWal has lectured at national meetings and has written several book chapters as well as published numerous articles related to the spine.
