I am currently under the care of Dr. Michael A. Stein, a foot and ankle specialist & surgeon, who works with the Foot Doctor of the East Bay. I contacted his office in San Leandro after an acute bout of Plantar Fasciitis. He was able to quickly, accurately and conscientiously diagnose the PF and I left the office with three different treatment options. I returned the following week with a 70% reduction in pain but with the understanding that the PF takes a while to heal even after the pain level has been reduced. After further treatment, he recommended orthotics and encourage me to continue using the Durable Medical Equipment I purchased. I will continue to see him on a weekly basis until my foot has fully healed. Both the front and back office staff are extremely professional, friendly, and courteous. They care about each individual patient and are committed to providing the best in foot health care. I highly recommend Dr. Stein and the Foot Doctor of the East Bay for any podiatry concerns. As an added bonus, the office is located across the street from Bancroft Middle School and has ample free parking in the back.
