They were definitely available to be reached in an emergency. They returned my call almost immediately. It is a relief to know that I can count on them to be there for me when I need them the most. I was so impressed with my appointment.
All my questions were answered, and I felt a lot more confident after I left. They thoroughly explained the risks and benefits of my treatment options and it was explained in detail with all my questions were answered. I felt sufficiently informed about choosing a treatment plan. Whether I had a billing question an appointment question or a procedure prep question, this OBGYN's staff answered everything completely. They were clearly well trained. Their office was the absolute perfect temperature. It was so nice to be able to get out of the weather outside and sit in a relaxing, comfortable office.
Dr. Barrett is the most wonderful doctor! He cares about you as person and does everything in his power to make sure that you feel comfortable. I was able to do a VBAC with no problems at all. Dr. Barrett explained what would happen through every stage of my pregnancy, labor and delivery while ensuring my baby and I were more than taken care of. He met my fiance and explained everything again to him so everyone was on the same page.
He made sure he saw me right away, I never had to wait and if he had something that kept him from seeing me at the exact appointment time (which almost never happened as he is prompt and ready to care for his patients) he always apologized and made sure that everything was going well.
When I went into labor, he was there right when I needed him and he checked on me numerous times before I delivered. During delivery, he helped me stay completely calm and focused. He checked on my baby and I each day we were in the hospital.
I was so happy to have the perfect doctor! He takes compliments but says that his patients are the ones who deserve all the credit.
I unfortunately had to move,but I tell all of my friends to go to him! He is amazing and truly cares.
