Since 2011 when I got a positive hpv test which i did not even ask for this test. Swampscott obgyn associates have been bullying me constantly for colposcopies and more pap smears and eventually rigorously wanted an endometrial biopsy. Everytime I called about hormone education due to menapause or anything else for that matter they wanted paps, colposcopies or strongly suggested endometrial biopsies. It became a huge stressor for me. I did the colposcopy because they instilled such fear in me about cancer then after a one time spotting during my peri menopausal years they wanted an endometrial biopsy. I was skipping periods and felt it was probably menopause and said I would wait and watch and it never happened again. All my paps were fine and i felt fine. They continued to call often about endometrial biopsy and eventually sent letters. I called the office and told them I was not doing procedure, I felt it was invasive when nothing was wrong with me. I called the office again a while later after my dr recommended hormone check up and they refused to see me. They ended up sending me to Dr michael reich after some lame excuse i missed too many appts when the last time I was there i was ten minutes late and they sent me home. Dr reich caused me such pain and suffering. They told me he would see me about hormones but Only after a pap smear. I went to dr reich and he was so rude. Did not introduce himself and would not let me speak. He made me answer questions about my children and their whereabouts and well being. Their ages etc he told me to lay back as he was going to do exam . This so called routine pap was so painful I cried. He ignored my pain as did his nurse when I jumped up from unexpected sharp awful pain. He continued doing something I saw large pink bulbous bloody tissue dropped in a cup the nurse was holding. Hard long scraping. Coughing with speculum open while he viewed me from clear across the room. The last time I checked a pap was a swab with a large q tip that just had cells on it. If they changed the procedure and the tools. WE Women DESERVE THE RIGHT TO KNOW... You cant change procedures and tools and not tell us and call it the same thing. He never told me what he was doing at any time during this exam except just before he was going to do manual pelvic exam which was very aggressive. Ive had plenty of paps with my last dr and had no problems. It has been five months of pain and changes to my body. My life has drastically changed. I could barely walk or drive due to heaviness in abdomen and cramping and pain. Ive had burning a changed vagina and insides.numerous dr appointments and two Er visits one of which I had cat scan that has cancer causing radiation. I am not getting better i am getting worse. I was a healthy woman before all of this. wish I never sought out help from them
