Do not trust yourself or a loved one with this company. They are extremely unprofessional. When you need DME equipment it is because people need assistance with their lives. This past weekend my family had plans for July 4th weekend. The prior week my Mom's wheelchair broke I called Advantage up and they came and replaced the wheelchair. Unfortunately, the wheelchairs are made in China and the chemical smell was unbearable. We left the chair on the terrace for days prior to our trip hoping the smell would go away. I called on a Friday asking if someone from Advantage would pick up the chair and switch it out with another one. I was promised the Driver would definitely be at my house on Friday to change the wheelchair. I spoke with the company Receptionist Jackie and I mentioned if she wanted I could come and pick up a chair if the Driver was not able to drop a chair off Jackie said No we have a chair for your Mom it is 18 inches and not to worry. Three calls later in the day, Jackie promised the Driver would be at our house. Today is Monday , no wheelchair we missed a family reunion, I called after hours to check and see if the Driver was still coming and received a call back by an OLGA who left a message, this is not an emergency if my Mom needed oxygen that would be an emergency. My Mom cannot walk, I would think that is an emergency. I called today and asked for the Owner his name is Adam, he was so abuse and rude. I would NEVER recommend this service. People depend on others when they have special needs. Instead of Jackie the Receptionist saying the Driver was definitely coming she should have told me the truth I would have rented a wheelchair. Advantage not only left my Mom and myself captive we missed a planned reunion. Olga, the after hours person that told us it was not an emergency and I should have used a transfer wheelchair on my vacation . A transfer wheelchair is just what the name is to go to and from a bed or car .I know EVERYONE in life will have to face their lies and things they do to people so I know they will have something that they will experience in heir lives similar to what was done to my family. Don't use this company. Their are so many professional customer oriented companies out there. This company 's employees will lie and promise though will not deliver.
