At Smile Works Pediatric Dentistry, we provide the highest standard of dental care for infants, children, adolescents and those with special needs. Our office is high-tech with computerized charting, digital x-rays and state of the art infection control and sterilization techniques. A range of treatments is available, including: nitrous oxide (laughing gas), in-office sedation or general anesthesia at Morristown Memorial Hospital. We are specially trained in treating special needs patients with any medical, physical or mental disability. Dr. Mann is always available to talk to parents to discuss any concerns they may have before or after a visit.
From the moment you step into our office, you’ll be greeted by our warm and friendly staff. Our experienced team loves working with children and is committed to making each and every visit for your child an enjoyable one. They are specially trained in calming children who are anxious and fearful or those with special needs. They are ready to assist you and your child in any way possible, while setting your child at ease and making them feel relaxed and special.
Pediatric dentistry starts with the first tooth. Our primary focus is on education and prevention; we offer a free exam for children under two years of age. We also offer complimentary fluoride testing of your child’s drinking water to aid in accurately determining if a prescription fluoride vitamin is right for your child.
We review recommended treatment and insurance benefits with parents before any treatment is initiated to make sure that any out-of-pocket costs are clear beforehand. We only collect what we estimate your insurance company will not cover and submit and track your insurance claims. We also offer convenient financing options.
Meet Dr. Mann
Dr. Andrea Mann received her Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree (DMD), from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 2004. She graduated from a two year specialty program at Long Island Jewish Hospital in New York, in 2006. In 2008, she was awarded Diplomate status by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
She is an attending doctor at Morristown Memorial Hospital where she enjoys teaching and supervising children’s dental care by the general dentistry residents.
In addition to being Board Certified, Dr. Mann has been repeatedly chosen by Mom’s as a Favorite Kid’s Doc in NJ Family Magazine for the fifth year in a row (2008-2013). She feels honored to be chosen by Mom’s as a mom’s top choice doctor.
