I had a hip replacement operation on May 15,2017 and was discharged on May 16 to go home, care was very good and the operation was a success. Then, I got the billing.I have a medical back ground and always check the billing and medical record. There I found some items that were on the bill and were not done. I have type two diabetes but do not use insulin so I requested that the bill be amended and it was The insulin charges were removed. However, the Physical therapy procedures were not done and the documentation for them was not correct. The hospital refused to remove those charges. i am still going through the process of getting this corrected.
