Shawn seems perfectly suited for his chosen profession.He communicates well. He knows how to apply his knowledge, skill, & advanced training to benefit his patients with relief as quickly as possible, but also for them to realize long term benefit.
Between 2006-2019, (moved away), I saw Shawn regularly, primarily for lower back, sciatica, & also a brief season of very painful plantar faciitus. Ive had many occasions requiring a number of PTherapists since mid 1990s due to herniated disks. In 2006, having retired & moved back to STL, I was looking to resume therapy which began out of state with a chiro having a particular decompression table (from which I had miraculously beneficial results), but with no luck. Finally, I called the machine mfg asking where I could find therapy in STL using that machine. That was my introduction to Shawn's practice, and most fortunate for me.
He is very good at diagnosing; (identifying then explaining how underlying issues may be exacerbating pain. From my experience, he is the best physical therapist for many reasons.
I appreciate his pleasant & patient nature, he makes the PT enduro enjoyable. Shawn was always willing to answer questions & especially good at teaching patients to read their body, its warning flares & knowledge as to what we can do to help ourselves, often avoiding long term pain events.
Now in my 70s, its time to make an appointment.
Shawn will always be my go to Physical Therapist. He has my respect & appreciation.
