Dr. Bond is a very knowledgeable Optometrist and I had great respect for him until several months after I got my last pair of Eye Glasses. Problem was when the glasses came in the close vision no line bifocal part was too low. To see my computer clear I had to close the nose pieces together so the end of the nose pieces were high up my nose and look out the bottom 1/4" of the glasses. I thought the glasses were made off sight and I told the person who handles the glasses in the office what my problem was and what I thought about the glasses. She told me she ground the glasses to fit the frames and there was nothing wrong with them but she did not check them and refused to do anything to correct them. Then about a month or two later I when to Dr. Bonds with my wife. I was wearing my glasses as I have for years but when he came into the room he reacted with hostility and abruptly shoved my glasses hard against my face telling me "That is where you are supposed to wear your glasses." I can only assume the women cutting the lens cried to him and he took her statement "Gospel Truth" because he reacted with Hostility against me without asking me about the problem with the glasses. I have struggled with these glasses for over a year and even worse struggled with what to do about Dr. Bond's Hostile Reaction Toward me when he used only one side of the story and did not ask me about my problem with the glasses. I do still believe Dr. Bond is a great Optometrist but because of his Hostility against me and his lack of getting the facts from both sides before he reacted with Hostility I have lost respect for him. What he did to me was rude, mean, uncalled, disrespectful, and very unprofessional.
