A neuropsychologist specializes in assessing cognitive function through standardized testing. Neuropsychologists are psychologists with additional training in neuroanatomy, neuropathology, and assessment. A neuropsychological evaluation can help with differential diagnosis of possible neurological conditions and assist in treatment planning and recommendations.
ServicesYou may be referred for an evaluation if you have a known or suspected condition that can affect your cognitive abilities (such as memory, attention, reasoning abilities). We need a copy of relevant medical records, including any reports of head/brain imaging if you have them. We will have a meeting to discuss your concerns and symptoms, then complete a battery of tests that are designed to measure your cognitive function. Once the tests are completed, we will provide the results to you and your referring physician. Additional ServicesNeuropsychologist
I saw Dr. Morgan one time for testing and one time to talk about what the tests showed. She was very kind and took a lot of time listening to me and answering questions. The information was very helpful and helped me make some changes I needed.
