The mission of AMI Behavioral Health Services is to assist individuals with their behavioral health concerns:

To overcome addictions, learn to control occurrences of anger, reconcile Domestic Violence issues and complete all required legal terms and conditions from the courts.

Our goal is to help clients understand the thoughts and feelings that influence behavior and to provide them with the coping skills necessary to replace old life style patterns with positive and effective changes.

Our objective is to mainstream clients back into the community, to assist them in overcoming the stigma associated with mental health issues, and to regain their position in society.

AMI's desire is that each client who completes our program, goes on to having a meaningful and productive life.

Services AMIBHS is a provider of group and individual counseling for Domestic Violence Offender Treatment, DUI/DWI Level I and Level II treatment and education, Certified Anger Management, Civic/Adult Responsibility, Grief/Crisis Intervention individual counseling and Substance Abuse treatment and counseling.

Collectively, we have over 50 years of experience working with clients from adolescences to adult and seniors. Couples and families are only seen in individual sessions.

We use Cognitive Behavior Therapy to treat a wide range of conditions including:

•Depression and suicidal feelings

•Bullying

•Self-esteem and self-image problems

•Civic/Personal Responsibility & Accountability

•Martial/Relationship Conflicts and Communication Skills

•Family dynamics - parent/child conflicts

Our office hours are: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. Weekend and Evenings by appointment.

Linda saved my life. In February of this year (2020) I was suicidal and had called a number of mental health care providers...none of them returned my call. A friend found Linda for me and she made an appointment for me immediately. Upon seeing her, I knew immediately that I was going to overcome this depression.
