My worst experience with a client in over 20+ years in health care occurred in March of 2015. They purchased a Groupon from a renter in my clinic. There were scheduling issues and the IC was moving out of state. It was asked to do a favor for a fellow therapist and take the appointment: not my Groupon offer but sure, I can help out.
Said person arrived 45 minutes early, was aggravated when requested to complete a health history, tapped their toe and sighed loudly in the waiting area. Was perturbed when I didn't forgo my meal break and start immediately. In an effort to diffuse the situation I suggested rescheduling with the other therapist that was running the Groupon offer. Declined. I started the session 30 minutes ahead of the scheduled time.
Responses during the intake process were clipped, curt and short. I verified that the appointment was scheduled for 60 minutes. During the session checked in about technique, level of pressure.
At the end of the session, she informs me that she was booked for 90 minutes. She didn't get all of her time. There was in fact an error, she was on my schedule for 60 minutes - I offered options for solution; resume the massage, refund the difference or provide a discount on future service. She opted to resume. We did. She tipped. I offered it back given the scheduling issue and shortened time. She refused to rescind the tip, thanked me and left.
And then she blew up the internet with a scathing review. I was advised not to respond, which I did not until now. This is ridiculous: There is one hairdresser in the building who was doing a cut and set. The appointment was booked for 60 minutes. I put my sweater on after finishing because the office area is cooler than the therapy room and frankly it was cold.

Worst massage in 20+yrs.Used a groupon for 90mn massage. The place is located in a salon which was very noisy. You could hear every convesation from salon also music from salon was so loud it was distrating from relaxing music that was being played, so first of all not a relaxing atmasphere. Vicki had told me if I did not want to talk I should just say SHHHI thought that was very unprofesional and I do not think it si not my job to do so . Most massage therpists get the hint you do not want to talk when you stop answering all the annoying questions she was asking, after my massage was over as I was getting dresses I notice I was on the table about an hour, I asked her and she said she was sorry and she owed me another 20 mn, I had to get back undressed and the more I thought about it I dont think I was even on the table an hour , because of all the talking she was doing before the massage.I had left a tip out of guilt I guess now I ish i would not have left one. I have never left a masssage feeling more angry and stressed than when I went in.I would never go back there again. I have never wrote a bad review on any of the massages I have had, I am chalking this up to a very horrible learning experience.
