Emily Johnston, RD, CDE

Emily Johnston is a Registered Dietitian (RD) and Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) who joined The Nutrition and Diabetes Center in 2011. She earned a Bachelors of Science degree in Nutrition and Dietetics at the UNC Greensboro and completed her dietetic internship at Montclair State University. She has earned a certificate of training in pediatric and adolescent weight management from the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
Emily has experience in the nutritional management of cardiovascular disease, GI disorders, food allergies, diabetes and weight management.
Emily is on the board of the New Jersey Dietetic Association and she also presents nutrition and wellness lectures on various topics in the community.

Services Located within The Cardiovascular Care Group, The Nutrition and Diabetes Center offers nutrition care and diabetes education for a variety of conditions. We have 3 locations: Westfield, Springfield, and Clifton, NJ.

We offer nutrition counseling services for weight management, diabetes, high cholesterol, food allergies, GI issues, and general wellness. We are an accredited Diabetes Education Program and offer Diabetes Self-Management Classes.
