Dr. Mickey Jones graduated from Alabama State University with a Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree in 2012. In addition, he graduated from Florida A& M University with a B.S degree in Physical Therapy in 1993. Dr. Mickey Jones has 20 plus years of experience treating patients with a variety of diagnoses. Previously, he worked as Director of Rehabilitation for a local hospital for 4 years. With his hospital experiences, he was able to work with patients very early after joint replacements, those who had suffered a stroke or deconditioning from prolonged bed rest, as well as those who had pneumonia, UTIs, neurological impairments and various other conditions. As a Doctor of Physical Therapy, Dr. Mickey Jones is focused on caring for the whole person. He is compassionate, caring, and dedicated to getting patients back to doing what they love to do, whether it is golfing, running, or just playing with their kids. He was awarded best clinical internship in his graduating class at FAMU. He served as an advisory board member for Florida Gulf Coast University Physical Therapy Program. He has been an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association for the past 20 plus years. In addition to these and other accomplishments, he is a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. and he is a Mason. Lastly, he is a licensed Certified Building Contractor in the State of Florida since 2006.
