Jason R. Besecker O.D., M.S is the newest member of Pioneer Valley Ophthalmic Consultants. Dr. Besecker received his B.S. and M.S. in Biology from Boise State University and his O.D. from Indiana University School of Optometry. Dr. Besecker has completed internships in the treatment and management of ocular disease, pre/post operative surgical care, and contact lenses at Indiana University School of Optometry, Hudson Valley VA Medical Center, and The Eye Institute of Utah. He has special interests in managing patients with glaucoma, ARMD, diabetes, and dry eye syndrome as well as contact lenses and primary eye care. Dr. Besecker is a member of the American Optometric Association, and the Massachusetts Society of Optometry.
