•Wellness Visits: A main focus of our practice! During your pet's wellness examination they will receive a thorough physical exam by one of our veterinarians.
•Preventative Care: In addition to the wellness exam, this can include vaccinations, flea and tick control, heartworm testing and prevention, blood test screenings (FeLV, FIV, Lyme Disease, Geriatric screening tests), nutrition/weight loss and dental care
•Routine surgeries: Neuter, Spaying, Front Declawing
•Soft tissue surgery: Examples of this type of surgery include ear, nose, throat issues, growth removal, and urogenital diseases.
•Anesthesia: We utilize the safest available anesthetics to provide an extra margin of safety, especially for our older or high-risk patients.
•Dental cleanings and care: Our dental services include teeth cleaning and polishing, tooh extractions and minor oral surgery.
•Fully stocked pharmacy: We maintain a complete inventory of medications, vitamins, shampoos, flea and tick control products and heartworm prevention to meet the needs of your pet. We also carry a full line of prescription diets by Royal Canin, Purina and Science Diet.
•Microchipping: We offer the Home Again Microchip identification system. We can also scan a pet for a microchip with our state of the art microchip reader.
•Puppy and kitten consultations: Starting your puppy or kitten on the road to a healthy life can be a confusing issue to navigate for the new owner. Longer appointment times are scheduled for new puppies and kittens. Please feel free to come with a list of questions! The pet will receive a thorough physical exam and the veterinary staff will go over such topics as training, vaccinations, parasite prevention, spay/neuter procedures and behavioral issues.
•Senior Pet health evaluations: CVC recommends that all adult pets receive annual examinations and that senior pets receive a thorough physical examination every six to 12 months. We recommend annual blood work (CBC, chemistry profile and thyroid function tests), urinalysis, and fecal examination. These tests will enable us to detect changes that indicate a disease is present and may allow us to slow or stop its progression.
•Radiology (X-rays): Our on-site, modern X-ray equipment provides high quality radiographs to aid in the quick diagnosis of many disorders. Xray can be taken to the farm for evaluation of horses too!
•OFA Certification (Orthopedic Foundation for Animals): The OFA evaluates the risk in breeding animals that they carry genetic disease that can be passed to their offspring such as hip dysplasia, elbow dysplasia, eye diseases, etc. More information can be obtained at their website: www.offa.org
•Individualized Flea & Tick Control Programs: We develop a program for the specific needs of your pet and yor own particular environmental situation. We will review with you the best ways to control fleas in your house, yard and on your pet. We will also review tick control products and risk of tick born diseases.
•Grooming services: Nail trims, ear cleaning, anal gland expressing, cat bathing and full body clips
•Dietary Counseling: We will provide guidance regarding your pet's nutritional needs for each life stage, including dietary requirements for growth, maintenance and performance.
•Behavioral Counseling: We can provide advice regarding the correction of problems such as excessive barking, chewing, spraying, scratching, digging, house soiling and aggression.

•Euthanasia/hospice services: We provide compassionate and caring euthanasia services both in the clinic and at your home by appointment.
•Cat boarding: We offer spacious kitty condos for cat boarding which allows them to have seperate and private bedroom and litter box areas. They are also equipped with a spacious play area. Horizontal pass through allows two or more condos to be connected for the boarding of more than one cat. Plexiglass fronts and backs provide visual stimulation so the cats do not get bored.
