Dr. Mehta always takes the time to listen and is very compassionate and knowledgeable. I have been his patient for more than four years and I have always been treated very well by him and his staff. I always highly recommend him to anyone needing a rheumatologist.

The Staff treated me like I was bothering them. They don't have any understanding of the pain and suffering of their patients. They lack empathy. The doctor never explains anything and does not seem to care about his patients quality of life, not once in 3 years has he ever asked me about how I'm functioning. He has never inquired if I'm sleeping well, or eating well. He keeps prescribing steroids and I have gained 30 pounds in a short amount of time and he does not seem to care. I allow 1 week for prescription refills and they are almost never ready on time and I have run out of medication several times, even after calling the office 3 times to remind them and the pharmacy faxing and calling them too. After I run out and call the office they make it seem like it was my fault that I don't have my medication refill. The staff does not give the doctor my call in messages. When my condition worsens and I call for advice they schedule me an appointment 35 days out. 35 days is a life time of waiting when my pain level in an 8 and I can't hardly move. I have been 10 minutes late for an appointment due to traffic and they have sent me away. But they don't have a problem making me wait an hour or more to see the doctor. When I complain to the doctor that I have terrible back pain, I am met with blank stares and uncomfortable silences. No explanation is offered and no discussion of treatment is given. I am sent home feeling hopeless, confused and still in pain. When my health insurance comes up for renewal I'm changing to a new Rheumatologist. They give me the impression that they could careless if I live or die. It's all about the money. Who can see the greatest number of patients in the least amount of time.
