The best of dentistry is provided by an experienced dentist who sees dentistry as a way to help people live longer by living healthier. Dr. Donley has gained expertise in providing more than just general dentistry procedures. For more than 35 years he has been providing braces. After learning how to create beautiful smiles, he learned about non-extraction orthodontics (not a certified specialist) and using orthopedics to expand the jaws and move the lower jaw forward. This eventually led to his involvement in managing snoring & sleep apnea. Snoring & sleep apnea are managed by using a variety of FDA approved oral appliances. As a member of the Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, he follows the parameters (rules) that were established to get the best results. Laser dentistry was added for multiple reasons. The Diagnodent is used to find decay at an earlier stage when cavities are smaller. The Q1000 laser is used to desensitize teeth, accelerate healing after surgery and in some cases to avoid using a needle. The hard tissue laser is using to remove decay without a drill. The soft tissue laser is used for surgeries and to treat the infection of gum disease and get pockets shallower, more manageable and in some cases cure the disease. Periodontal disease affects 3 out of 4 people over the age of 12. It is better to be proactive and teach how to prevent the disease than to treat it. As a Center for Dental Medicine, he follows a modern advanced treatment program.
