Dr. Bernadette Aleksey, (all of her friends and clients call her Dr. Bernie), graduated from Tufts School of Veterinary Medicine in 2003. She is a member of the veterinary honor society, PHI ZETA and was a recipient of the Valerie Bates Humanitarian Award.
