Our mission: To aid people in actualizing their potential by helping them to achieve a higher state of living through structural, chemical and mental means. Our goal is to not only alleviate pain, but to find the root cause of the dysfunction and eliminate it or control it for good. Pain is not 'the norm' and even after years of living with it, come in and talk to us and see if you can't leave without it.
AK is an interdisciplinary approach to healthcare, which draws together core elements of complimentary therapies, creating a more unified approach to the diagnosis and treatment of functional illnesses. Functional assessment measures are used in posture, gait analysis, manual muscle testing, range of motion, static palpation and motion analysis. Nutrition:
We provide nutritional counseling for our patients, and encourage and educate them on how to incorporate a healthy diet into their lifestyle. In specific cases we provide nutritional supplementation and use such high quality products as Standard process, Biotics, and Metagenics.
Developed 35 years ago, by Dr. Kenzo Kase, Kinesiotaping has become the gold standard for therapeutic and rehabilitative taping. Most recently popularized by its wide use in 2010’s Vancouver’s Winter Olympics, Lance Armstrong, and Serena Williams.
Kinesiotape is latex free and has the same elasticity built in as your skin. It acts to normalize muscle tone, promote lymphatic and blood flow, and helps to reduce pain in an injured area.
While Kinesiotape provides the required support, it allows the muscles and joints to move through complete range of motion while the body heals itself.Additional ServicesDr. Corneal holds the higest certification in his specialty, a DIBAK in Applied Kinesiology.
I took my 90 year old mother for an appointment with Dr. Annie Zeigler, for long time shoulder pain. My mother hasnt been able to lift her arm above her waist for a long time, even while on heavy pain meds. After half hour treatment she had her arm high abover her head! Apparently it was mostly muscular restriction from neck and shoulder. And her doctors had told us that surgery was the only option ;-( I think the form of chiropractic that is practiced in this clinic, Applied Kinesiology, is like magic! I highly recommend this group for every type of problem. You never know what they can fix!
Dr Corneal's gift to us was not centered upon touchy/feely matters but upon a clear clear diagnosis and successful treatment for what was deemed by medical professionals as hopeless.Medical doctors and rheumatologists diagnosed my wife's condition as rheumatoid arthritis, possibly lupus or ankylosing spondylitis . They told her there was nothing they could do for her but manage pain as it became worse...end of story.Corneal's diagnosis was an abdominal/bowel malfunction that he then treated. She was about 80% pain free that first treatment, the remaining symptoms disappearing after the next two or three along with some vitamin supplements and diet modifications for a month. That was over 25 years ago. HER SYMPTOMS NEVER RETURNED! Thank you Dr Corneal!
