My name is Dr. Lynn Hakala. I am a female Chiropractor and I have just re-opened a new office location at 12019 SE Powell Blvd. Portland, OR 97266 My office phone is 503.761.5966. I have 20 years of experience and I am confident I can help my patients. I graduated from Western States Chiropractic College in 1991. I moved here to Oregon from Alaska and have made Oregon my home for the past 22 years. My love is family and my farm animals and nature. Currently I am continuing furthering my education by taking classes to achieve a Diplomate of the American Board of Chiropractic Internists. This is a course which is offered for post doctoral training in the use of diagnostics for both pathological and wellness evaluation. By utilizing these same tools and examination methods as conventional medicine, Chiropractic Internists are in a position to offer their patients the best sound health care advice and assessment as primary care physicians within the complimentary health care arena.

My past years here in Oregon have specialized in motor vehicle trauma and work injuries. I holds 4 titles in bodybuilding, the 1991 Gold Classic Overall Champion, 1991 Oregon Coast Overall Champion and 1989 Oregon Pacific Coast 1st place Couples and her last contest was the Emerald Cup Bodybuilding Championships, the premier contest in the northwest in march of 1992. I had a shot at the overall title, the judges; in a split decision awarded it to the heavy-weight class winner. I still love weight training and offer help via weight loss programs and physical therapy post accident, post surgery and or injury. Dr. Hakala is a great chiropractor who helped me when others didn't. She also examined me for a DOT medical card. She and her assistant tested almost everything, writing down information about extensive ranges of motion for all my limbs, reflexes, appearance. I don't recall ever getting that kind of examination from any doctor before. She is also a wonderful person. Easy to talk to. Easy to understand. I would advise anyone interested in excellent services to give her a call.

I have been seen by Doctor Hakala numerous times and can't express how genuine and knowledgable she is with regard to my numerous situations. She is genuinely caring, concerned, and always demonstrates a professional, yet personal demeanor.

I highly recommend Lynn to those who have never seen a chiropractor, as she is very gentle and is really worth the visit!
