Dr. Kirnak has extra credentialing in Sacro Occipital Technique, and has pursued post graduate courses in car accident injuries, TMJ treatment, migraine treatment, orthotics, and nutrition. Dr.Kirnak attended Sunset High School, was a Jefferson Dancer, and then worked/lived in New York City as a professional dancer, until sidelined by injuries.
Her work with chiropractors for her spinal scoliosis inspired her for a path at Los Angeles College of Chiropractic to a second career. "I feel very fortunate to have found a job that is always challenging on every level, where I am helping people."

I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Kirnak and ActiveLife Chiropractic. I came to Dr. Kirnak last September. I could barely walk, following a long mountain hike in bad shoes. I was unable to do the workout classes I had been accustomed to doing. Slowly and patiently, Dr. Kirnak worked with me – initially once week, then twice a week and finally about once a month. She was clear up front that it might take a while with my 66-year-old carcass. She took the time to understand what was wrong, made the adjustments and spent time developing alternative exercise strategies. Her suggestions were in line with much of what I was hearing from an acupuncturist; they worked together. Very professional, really friendly and committed to quality service. Her treatments and the Foot-Levelers examination and orthotics all worked to get me out of the pain, back to the gym and out walking again. And here’s the thing: Unlike some, Dr. Kirnak had no interest in keeping me coming in when I didn’t need to. She was the one suggesting less frequent appointments.
