I had hit my head so hard that I split my hardhat and sought chiropractics for an assessment. This provider asked for my insurance at the time of booking and then asked me to pay "upfront" for their services. No xray was taken of my neck or spine. I was adjusted and given a very short massage without talking about what was covered and not or why things were being done. I was given a follow-up appointment which I canceled after paying 115.16 for services. Later when I received my insurance benefits statement I noted that I had been over-charged for services. I had to call regarding my refund and was given a refund less than what my insurance indicated was due. When I inquired as to why the discrepancy, I was put on hold and then was told that massage was not covered by my insurance and so was not even billed. My wife has been going to a Chiropractor in Oregon City and her bill with massage and electro-therapy was only $42 per visit. I am not going back.
