This office is by far the best Chiropractic office in town! The Doctors are very informative, and the staff is so helpful and kind. They didn't try to "sell" me on Chiropractic, with the whole "i need to see you 47 times thing." (How would anybody know exactly how many times it takes to heal you anyway?) After the therapy & adjustment, I walked out feeling as if I'd had a mini spa session. I have found that by doing this atleast once a month, I've had a reduction in headaches, and body aches, and my stress level is more managable. I think everyone should try it atleast once, because you'll be hooked!

Not only did they not provide me with pain relief, but I was actually in even more pain when I left than when I went in. They answered most of my questions but I could have used more information. Their staff was friendly enough, but they didn't go out of their way to help me. I feel like my appointments were pointless. Nothing was accomplished, and I felt worse when I left. I didn't actually see Dr Rankin, I was seen by another chiropractor in his office, Dr. Woods. I have seen quite a few chiropractors over the past 4 years and I have never been so disappointed with one. My attorney sent me here but I called her after my last appointment begging to never have to go back and for her to find me another office to resume care with. I'm dumbfounded by all the positive reviews on here, but I did see one that is practically identical to mine, from mrsboop I believe it was. The sessions would begin with what they refer to as "therapy" where a lady would come in and perform 2 minutes of ultrasound followed by 2 minutes of the most painful "massage" I've ever had in my life. During many visits I inquired about this form of "treatment" ie torture. Every other chiropractor I have ever seen has provided a 60 minute massage from an actual massage therapist. He claimed there is "no research to support a 65 minute massage being better than 10 minutes." That idea is absurd. I carry tension in my entire body. I am never able to relax, which adds to guarding and increases my pain. My last 2 massages with a wonderful therapist outside of this office the lady worked on me for over 2 hours due to the shape I'm in and only charged me for one. I need total body care, and specialized attention to my problem areas. This could never be done in 10 minutes! and they weren't even providing 10 minutes anyway, it was 2 on avg. I think once it went an extra minute and a few times didn't even seem like more than 1 minute. He said once that if I would rather have 15 of myofascial release done than the therapy they could do that and would do it the next visit. Which I desperately wanted this. It is a gentle and extremely effective technique (although I was skeptical anyone there would actually perform it correctly). But on subsequent visits I was still put through the 2+2 torture. I have many injuries in my neck, shoulder, low back and hip, from bulging discs, to joint instability, torn ligaments, deep muscle ahesions, etc and could have really benefited from some gentle, precise care such as myfascial release. One day he would tell me we needed to be aggressive with the therapy and force the muscles into submission, then the very next visit he would say we needed to be conservative with the treatment because of how much pain I am in. I have to tell you my pain that I experience in my shoulder as well as my neck, is ALL DAY, EVERYDAY. It is all I can think about, it keeps me from living my life. I am unable to work or maintain friendships or relationship due to my constant pain. I take 10mg Percacets 4 times a day as well as a muscle relaxant and never get a moment where I don't wish I was dead because of how much I hurt. This office has only inflicted more pain on me. I began treatment with them 4 weeks ago and rated my shoulder pain at a constant 8 and my hip at a 4 when I laid on it. I'd say my shoulder is still at the 8 although it's hard to not call it a 10 but I realize that would actually cause me to die or at the very least pass out,. However the important difference is now since going there, my hip is now at a 6-7 at all times, where before seeing them it only hurt when I laid on it. Each visit, the doctor comes in and tells me what he is going to adjust and performs said adjustments without even feeling/ checking my spine in order to access what needs to be done. Very improper patient care. Also, he has very little self confidence in himself, I see his hands trembling as he talks to me and he is unable to communicate in a professional manner. Every third sentence from his mouth is "know what I'm saying." I kid you not. It is so frustrating. As I said before (after leaving this office in tears for the last time) after my last visit on Monday I called my attorney and begged her to send me somewhere else.

Bottom line, keep shopping for a better provider people. If I could rank them below a one I would.
